Hair Spray advice?

At 68 years old I'm Blessed to have silkey , fine , thick white hair , my friends wish they had .

My problem is finding hair spray that will hold my hair in place so it won't fall in my face . I've used some that paiste my hair down %26amp; feels hard . I like the soft feel .

White Rain works pretty good but the sprayer gets pluged .

Is there any other hair spray that keeps the hair soft %26amp; in place .

i love any thing by pantene, it makes your hair even more soft and shiny, full too. the hair spray works wonders for my hair it holds all day without making it stiff and stringy, the best part is it smells great ; )

So far, the hair spray I've used is TRESemme.

If you really want it to feel soft, TRESemme makes an extra fine aerosol mist.

I generally use this though.

The BEST hairspray I have ever used, and have been using for almost 10 years is Paul Sebastian Shaper Plus...it's a little more expensive than regular hairspray..but it holds with softness, does not damage my hair (I'm 48..very gray and color my hair blonde)..and not only does it hold my hair all day, the can lasts a long time...in the long run, the expense of it (about $15 if you buy it at the Wal-Mart Hair Salon...Sebastian is only sold in salons..)

but it is WELL worth it...my hairdresser suggested it years ago, and NOTHING holds my hair (but doesn't look like it has hair spray on it) like it....and it smells wonderful as well!

(I've had people compliment me on my "perfume"..I don't wear perfume..it's always my hair they smell)...

Why waste your money trying different store brands...

I have told another asker about the same hairspray. It is called Sebastion Shaper. Comes in a tall white can with black and taupe lettering. It provides a soft brushable hairspray for fine hair but lasts all day. Sprays in a micro fine mist. Can be bought in most grocery, drug, or discount stores. Sells for about $15.00 but well worth it. I have seen a generic brand right next to this, haven't tried but sells for half.

Hair Spray advice?

There are many hair sprays on the market that can hold hair in place. Unfortunately most of them if not all will make your hair feel hard. We use 'Fudge-Skyscraper' which works very well and also Loreal air fix max both of which do not leave residue. The industries longest and best known spray is Loreal's Elnet which you can still get in many stores. Other products which are not in an aerosol cans are things like Loreal's Fix design or Fudge 'cement' the later doing exactly what it say on the tin.

Good luck.
