Well my hair is so curly, I want it to be strait. I have to straiten it for an hour.

Too much hairspray gives you dandruff.

Secondly, you should go to a hair salon and have it done, it will probably last longer. But also a flat iron will keep your hair straight.

I found this site, see if it helps.

Its not the hairspray. Its the natural oils in your hair. You should wash your hair about everyother day.

MATRiX Sleek look WATER-FREE hair spray

I have curly hair too...GET THE Farouk CHi! you can get it on eBay for $80 it saves SO MUCH time! GREAT investment

Because most people wash their hair more than just once a week!

If you want your hair to be straight, try sleeping with big curlers in. Unless you want is to be really flat-straight, in which case I have no idea.

Nothing is going to keep it straight for a week. The weather and daily life take a number on your hair, and if you find something that will keep the straightness, inform the media because I'm sure their are plenty of girls with the same problem.

My hair has been completely straight for a lifetime so I don't understand your problem. I would love to have curly hair.Guess we always want what we don't have.

Well, if your hair is THAT curly and you always want it to be straight, I suggest you get it relaxed. You can just keep straightening it every day but that would be really hard on your hair (plus you said it takes an hour and I doubt you want to do that all the time). Maybe you should wear it curly some days and straight others, but if you really want it straight and can't stand curly, I would opt for the relaxer. You should probably go to a salon and ask a stylist for their opinion as well, they'd probably know best what's the better options for your hair for what you want.

Your best bet is a straight perm. They're expensive - between $150 - $800 dollars, but if done well they leave your hair perfectly straight. My natural hair is super curly and now i can just let it air dry I just touch a few pieces up with a flat iron if I need to. You end up saving a ton of money on hair products, too. Really the only one i use now is the occasional volume serum. (Never thought I'd be using that before!)

Thats the downfall of being a woman cause you have to staighten it everytime you get out of the shower so you will not be able to go a whole week unless you dont shower gross

First of all most shampoos out there are no longer like "dawn" dishwashing liquid. If you don't wash your scalp at least every 2 days...The natural build up of oils and dirt will be too extreme for your shampoo to do it's job. Second...If you're using a flat iron? You need to use a flat iron spray (ie: Matrix sleek look flat iron spray, Biosilk silk therapy shine on, etc) you use them DURRING flat ironing so your hair gets straighter and stays straighter even against humidity. Maybe you need a more permanent alternative? Such as the Japanese Bio-Ionic? It's horribly expensive but it's MUCH different then lye-relaxers. I'm sorry there's no magic button :)

well becasue, you want to be clean dont you?

I suggest get one of those shampoos that say they make your hair straight

i got a permanet straightener put in my hair. it is called a CHI straightener and you have to get ur roots done every 6 months. it lasts untill your hair grows out. it costs $275 to get done and it takes 5 hours. touch-ups are $75.

Hahaha if there was I would get some but it would probably cost a pretty penny, for me AND clients. :D

There is a particular flat iron, called Maxiglide, on the HSN channel or something that straightens hair while it is still DAMP...it's amazing does the job in half the time with no tangles or kinks left!

But good products, from shampoo and conditioner, and styling aids that reduce hair breakage and heat damage, also help.

I would consider getting a chemical-type curl remover or getting that Japanese Ionic service that straightens the hair out for several months. No blowdrying, no flat irons, no fuss. It is great! But be cautious if your hair has been permed, relaxed, or bleached/tinted before. And be aware that even though these services are low-maintainence at home, at the salon they can take hours to complete.

a spray this strong will kill the ozone (like the government doesn't do enough damage).

that's the reason paul mitchell changed their freeze and shine years ago. now it feels yukky.
