Hair dye is typically put on clean dry hair although a little hairspray is probably ok. If you really use a lot and use the heavy duty stuff, I'd wash and dry first just to make sure there is no "barrier" in the way.

I love SALLYS, especially the electric Banana hair dye. Yes, you can use hairspray. The chemicals in the hairspray will only react if you are using a paste hair dye, and the reaction is sticy hair!

yes it ok to shampoo. But also keep in mind if at anytime you had your hair frosted every time you shampoo it will lighten up. reds are the colors that fade the most
