What is the difference between hair gel, hair mousse, wax, and hair spray?

Are there any pros and cons among these, and what do they do to your hair respectively?

What is the difference between hair gel, hair mousse, wax, and hair spray?

It all depends on the look you are going for.

Hair gel- gives you hold and creates that wet, stiff look

Hair Mousse- a styling aid used to create body and hold in a hair style

Wax- waxes come in all different types...they are mainly to add texture to give you that messy or pieced out look, some add shine

Hair Spray- its mainy used after styling to add hold to the finished style

The products you use depend on the hairstyle or look you are going for. If you had long curly hair, you wouldn't want to load your hair up with wax. It just wouldn't work. As long as you wash your hair every day, there is really no harm you can do to your hair with styling products. For males with shorter hair, I recommend wax or pomeade for that fun texture and hold. If you like the wet look, go for a gel. Good luck!

What is the difference between hair gel, hair mousse, wax, and hair spray?

hair gel is thicker, it smells better and ill use it if im doing certain styles

mousse is good for styling, you can get volume mousse, scrunching mousse, texture mousse

wax is for removing hair

hair spray is good for updo's, its easy to apply but bad for the enviorment
