if deciding between a hairspray or gel - use gel . it has a stronger hold and u can put it all through out ur hair. Hairspray is just a thin film and can let ur hair fall. also it rarely smells good. depending on what you want to do with your hair - mohawk use gel but for more lift and texture try using a paste. you can get it any where from any line of hair care products. it doesnt have that crisp wet look (if thats what u are going for use gel) and very often adds more textur while still giving a better scent than hairspray.

keep you natural hair color. dont do any highlights or anything - they look kinda ken dollish. if you wanna fun color (blue, green, purple) then do it now before you get a job and have to look professional and not like a teenager. now is the time to have fun with your hair.

i would go with gel for guys, and dont color it...colored hair on guys rarely looks good

Hair spray because it doesnt leave any gel-flakes.

I wouldnt colour it but if you are goin to then do it in your favorite colour. Or if you spike it up then do the tips in white or yellow, it looks cool.

Maybe experement with temporary colorants to see what suits you.

Gel is good if you want your hair to look wet. What hairspray does is stiffen your hair after you're done combing and shaping it. If you want curly hair and your hair is long enough, you can have it permed.

gel, black hair. it will give your hair a shine to it and keeps it in place.

since ur a boy than use gel to sculp ur hair the way u want to and than u can use hair spray to keep the sculpting in place for examples spikes. and since u have black hair i think its good to keep it that way..cause i think its tacky wen a boy colors their hair

Natural is the best. dont use artificial when nature has given you the colour. maintain it.

i think using hair wax is better. hair spray reminds me of the 80's, while gel is more of the 90's. plus, the wet look is already out.

try using hair wax, it allows you to style your hair without the wet look, and without making your hair sticky looking.

guys should use gel. hair spray gets flaky, and gel give it the wet look all day. personally you shouldnt color the cemicals will ruin your hair. besides black hair is harder to ge the color you want.

Well, gel is too thick and hair spray might not work well, keep ur hair color
