Best hair straightener ? best hair protection spray to be used before straightening?

i have slight curly hair ,beautiful though.

i am ok with the free flowing curly hair. but the curls over the scalp are not looking nice.

i want to straighten only those curls that too occasionally.

tat the reason y i dont want to go 4r chemical permanent hair straightening( which is best acc to few)

SO PLEASE SUGGEST ME SOME GOOD COMPANY HAIR STRIAGHTENER WHICH DOESNT OVERHEAT N DAMAGE MY HAIR.

ALSO THE HAIR GEL/SPRAY WHICH I AM SUPPOSED TO USE BEFORE STRAIGHTENING THE HAIR

Chi by Global Beauty is by far the best hair straightener!!! I dont really use serum, but john freida is good.

The best hair straightener that I use is called Turbo Ion - Ceramic Hairstyling Iron. Its less than $200 but its worth buying it because once it starts to heat up before using it to straighten your hair, it takes like about 5-10 seconds to heat fast. It has different temperatures and its light when you hold it....it doesn't hurt your hands. I bought it from a hairdresser....you won't find it in a shop.

As for gel, i haven't heard of putting gel before straightening the hair.... it should not be gel at all, it should be a cream that you use after you finish straightening your hair to make the little hair of yours that is sticking out to lay down so then they won't stick up. I use Alberto VO5 - Styling Wax. You put a small amount on your hand, rub it to your hair. Don't put too much or your hair will look oily. Good luck!
