Hair spray and conditioning styleing creme?

can it be bad to your hair and dammage it if you leave it in for 2 or more days n dont wash it out? cuz i did that a few days ago and when i washed it out i had a knot in my hair at the back n i had to cut it out, when when it was dryed it was fine and i just put styling creme sum mousse and a bit or hair spray in my hair to get thta wavy look and every thim ei do it it ends up a bit dry and them sum parts are smooth so i guess i have two q' why dose it get dry and how do i get smooth waves?

you should use sunsilk you can find it at walmart, target, etc. its leave in and they have some for frizzy, wavy, straight hair and more but i think you should wash your hair more often try washing your hair one day and the next day don't wash it

because your hair might smell and look greasy.

So, you need to wash your hair next day and replenish hair with a good hydrating conditioner to make up for the moisture loss.

And to create waves, you need to use mousse and stuff, whatever you are using, BUT, put a little bit of leave-in conditioner on damp hair first. That will keep your hair soft and supple.

Another thing, don't do this scrunching routine every day. Give your hair some time to breathe.
