I use Ellenet as well its a great hold it won't damage your hair if you follow instructions, some do they are like glue you just have to be careful you don't use to much spray but Elnet is fine its great...=)

it depends on the type of hair that you have and how you are using the hairspray. Most hairsprays have alcohol in them which can dry hair out. If your hair is dry, it is best to stay away from alcohol-based products. But, if you've been using this product for a while with no problems, I would not worry aout it.

Also be careful not to manipulate hair too much after hairspray has been applied. Hairspray is meant to "set" a style or keep it in place and should be sprayed when you are finished styling your hair. You can damage your hair if you are brushing or combing it rigorously after applying hairspray.
